Girls' Weekend

I am so lucky to have the greatest high school girlfriends. Actually, we aren't just high school girlfriends. All these girls and I have been best friends since the 1st grade. Crazy! Well, we all like each other so much and since we now all live all around the US we made a pact to get together once a year for a weekend, no matter what! This year we had it in Dallas. We had a blast together! Tons of laughing, eating, and reminiscing! We were also able to celebrate and have a bridal show for Rachel who is getting married this August in FL. wooohoo! We are all so excited to go down to Florida and be bridesmaids. Also, this year the first of our group had a little beautiful baby girl. It was soo fun for all of us to play auntie and watch as Whit turns into a wonderful mother! Sadly, this was our first year without Donna. She passed away last June to cancer. She was missed terribly but she will never be forgotten and is in all of our hearts. Thanks to great and true girlfriends!! I'm sad that I only have pictures from the shower, but I guess that they will have to do. Disclaimer: Yes, I am wearing my flowery white and red shirt again. It is new and one of my new favorites and I wore it each time in different company and so I thought it wouldn't be a problem, but now since I am blogger I guess it is.
