James had his first photo shoot when he was 10 days old. It was a pretty traumatic experience for him. The session lasted 3 hours, he was naked the whole time, it was freezing in there, and he was starving and fussy! Also, he peed a total of 3 times and pooped once during the photo shoot!! Remember no diaper! First, he peed on me getting it all over the floor and my shoes. Then, he was wrapped in a black sheet and pooped in it! Next, he peed on Sam! Lastly, he peed when in a basket! We have a pic of it mid stream. I'm sure our photographer never wants to do a shoot with us again and that James set some kind of record for bodily functions for one shoot! Sorry Geoff! Good thing James is soo cute and a trooper. Through it all, we were able to get some good shots. Here are some of our favorites:

I love them! That is my biggest regret... I didn't get infant pictures of Avery and they just look so different after 2 weeks. I love the one of you 3 together and the ones of him snuggled on the white fuzz. I also love the basket one... especially cause pee is shooting out! Your boys are such troopers! Mike probably wouldn't be very happy taking pictures for 3 hours!

HAHAHA! The last one is hilarious! I didn't even notice the pee, I was concentrating on the cute baby in the fuzzy cocoon. I love the first one with your ring!
The ones of James lying on the white fluff in particular are to-die-for.
I love that he appears to be peacefully sleeping while peeing out this giant stream.
oh my goodness brittney! He is so dang precious! You need to frame that pee picture! It's absolutely priceless!
