We didn't lite his candle because it was too windy. He didn't know any different.

James also went to the dr. for his one year check-up. He and I were both upset after the check-up due to 5 shots, blood taken from his arm, and a bloody nose from whacking himself in the nose with a cabinet door in the dr. office. Sad.

21 lbs -30% percentile
30 in-60% percentile
Head-50% percentile
I can't believe that James has been in our family for a whole year. He is more than I could ever dream of. I love him too much!

Those cupcakes amazing!! I want one! :) Happy birthday, James! It really is unbelievable how quickly our babies are growing up. Sorry he had such a traumatic doctors visit..that doesn't sound fun at all.
Excuse my poor grammar...what I meant to say is "those cupcakes LOOK amazing!!" haha
Of course he loves cupcakes, he is his momma's son. They were really cute and he is looking really grown up. Love it!!
Happy birthday James! He's is so cute. I wish Charlotte could've attended his birthday party. Any chance you'll be in Utah in August? I'll be there for a bit...I wish our paths would cross!
Happy Birthday, James! I'll always think of him on his special day. ;) And 1 year old dr. visits are the worst...the best part is being able to finally switch car seats!
He is such a cute ONE year old :) His party was fun, the cup cakes were to die for and the pizza was delicious!
That top picture of James is SO cute! How on earth did you make those cupcakes? I can't believe he is already 1! Congrats, little James!
