Friday was Texas Tech Medical School's White coat ceremony. In the ceremony there were a couple of speakers and then everyone was called up one person at a time and their first white coat was put on them. Sam's parents were able to come out to celebrate with us. Way to go, Sam!

When Scott got his white coat at the beginning of med school he was so excited he practically wanted to sleep in it. I thought it was a cool ceremony, although it was funny that they were given white coats (which seemed to suggest that they were doctors) before they'd even started med school. Oh well - just getting into med school is enough of an achievement that they deserve some sort of recognition!
But who cares about the white coat ceremony when your dress is so cute! Where did you get it?
Yay congrats Sam! You look handsome in your white coat.
He looks like doctor material! Yay for Sam! Um I love your dress, where did you get it?!
