Sam and I were lucky enough to get invited to go to Italy with my family for 10 days!! I was a trip of a life time and we had soo much fun! While we were there we went to Venice, Florence, and Rome. Here are some highlights.
-Venice's canals and alley ways. This was such a unique city. The only way to get to Venice is if you go by boat. There are no cars or buses. There were a ton of little cute shops and cafes.
-St. Mark's Basilica in Venice. The whole square was just beautiful especially at night.
-The David by Michelangelo in Florence. Yes, this is a pirated picture. Sam did it, not me.
-Eating real Italian food made by real Italians. We went to the house of a family that lived in Rome that my dad baptized when he was on his mission there 30 years ago. Being able to hang out with that family was so neat and the food was amazing! 4 course meal all made from scratch!
-Saint Peter's Square in Rome.
-The Coliseum. We took a guided tour of the Coliseum and it was crazy to hear about how much of a bloodbath this place really was.
-The Forum. Besides the forum being awesome we saw Resheed Wallace of the Detroit Pistons taking a tour just like us. Random. My brothers were freaking out.
-Gelato! Yum yum yum! We actually had it every night!!

Your mom and I couldn't get their pictures to work so I saw all of yours (the blurry version) Long story. It sounds like you had a blast. I can't believe you saw Rasheed Wallace. That would have been the highlight of my boy's trip as well even though they are all grown!! Rachel's wedding looks beautiful. Good luck with school - actually both of you.

So jealous! Italy is beautiful i want to go back! I loved all the picutes and I looked through every single one from the slide show. What a fun trip for your family.
Cool! I want to go to Italy so bad. Was the food really good because that would be one of the main reasons I would want to go.
