My retainer broke this week. I know it sounds ridiculous but I am really sad. I have worn this retainer daily for over 10 years. I was always the girl who did everything my orthodontist told me to do. When I was given head gear and told to wear it every night. I did it religiously. Even on slumber parties. I know Sam is not sad that it broke. It gave me a great lisp, breath, and looked soo darn cute. I even wore it on our honeymoon! Don't worry I am going home next month and am going to make an appointment with my ortho to get another one!

I remember your retainer! Sad story. I stopped wearing mine about a year ago and you've inspired me to start up again. I want to be as good a rule follower as you.
i feel ya-i still wear my top and bottom (blue and purple)retainers, but only a couple times a month. i don't know what i'd do if they broke-aren't they expensive?!
