I didn't have anything that was red, white, and blue that fit me. Pink, white, and blue had to do.
Of course, we had a BBQ!
And, lots of red, white, and blue treats!
In the evening we went to watch the local fireworks. All we were told was that the fireworks were at a specific park and at nightfall. When we pull into the park it is filled with questionable people but we decide to stick around anyways. When nightfall came all the people around us started shooting off their personal fireworks. I am not kidding, we were dodging fireworks left and right! I was soo scared! So, by 10:15 the show still hadn't started. We decided to leave so we could get out of there alive. Right as we are leaving the fireworks start. We pull over and watch it. It was a good show. We got back in the car and laughed about our firework adventure and decided that next year we will go see a neighboring town's firework show!

Sounds like a fun 4th! (except maybe the scary people blasting off fireworks everywhere,haha) You look so cute! And that food looked delicious...makes me hungry :)
It looks like you had so much fun!! Did you cut your hair Brittney? Very cute. We didn't do much. or anything for the forth. We went to a place that had a view of the whole Las Vegas Valley and watched the various fireworks from there. 9 days! I'm so excited!
Did you make the festive cake and strawberries? Impressive! I'm glad you didn't get hit by a firework. :) I can't WAIT to hear when you have the baby! Don't forget to call me!
