Here he is!! All 8 lbs of him. He is pretty beefy. We are not sure who he looks like. The labor went pretty smooth until the end. Brittney had to push for about an hour, but she pushed out something pretty cute.

He was a little swollen when he came out. He kind of looks like a sumo wrestler. We will post more pictures when Brittney gets out of the hospital. She is the real blogger.

Hooray! What a wonderful new phase of your life! The first two weeks after having a newborn baby is my favorite time. So peaceful, serene, and calm to observe this little miracle.
Of course there is recovery and sleep deprivation, but little James will be so worth it! Can't wait to hear Brittney's side of the story!

Wow..we are getting quite the big family. James and Stella will enjoy hanging out together. I can't believe how beautiful Brittany looks after the long push. We're looking forward to seeing a lot more photos. We love you guys! I'm sure Grandma Strebel gave him a good send off to come here. (Hilma..not David)
