Warning: Bazillion pictures!
They were married in the San Diego temple. The temple is so beautiful. Too bad it was getting repainted, hence the scaffolding on the it.

It is so fun to have a cousin so close in age for James.
Then we drove to Running Springs for the reception.
A few days later we went back to San Diego and there they had a traditional Indian wedding ceremony. The sister and sisters in law were even able to wear Saris. Loved them!
Us girls in our Saris.
Here are Hans' curly shoes. Everyone thought were too cool.
This is me seeing Sonali in the bride's room before the ceremony. She was absolutely stunning. It was ridiculous!

Cindy was a bridesmaid.
The venue. San Diego couldn't be prettier.
The groomsmen.
Yes, Sonali arrived to the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage!
The bridesmaids. Love their Saris.
Hans and Sonali during the ceremony. It was so neat. Most Indian ceremonies last 3-4 hours and are in sanskrit. However, their ceremony was in sanskrit and English and it only lasted about an hour.
They left on a boat.
The immediate fam.

Sam guarding Hans' shoes. It is some Indian tradition that the bride's family tries to steal the groom's shoes and it is the groomsmen's responsibility to protect them.
Sam's parents and their 3 boys.
This is what James did for the majority of the time. Played in the dirt of the many flowerbeds or...
crawled where he wasn't supposed to!
We are still working on the whole walking thing. He can walk but it is not his primary most of transportation and it is way slower than crawling!

The happy couple! They had both Indian and American food for dinner and then dancing! I loved the dancing. ALL the Indians danced. It didn't matter if they were 80 years old, they were on the dance floor getting down! Loved it!

I am so glad that Sonali is now part of the family! She is the sweetest girl! Congrats, Hans and Sonali!

Wow, that is the coolest wedding/reception/ fun I've ever seen! How neat! She is absolutely beautiful, and I love all the Indian culture.
That looks so fun! What a lucky bride to get to wear 3 outfits. I love the one of you and James and his hair is sticking up.
