Christmas

Another late post. Our Christmas was a lot of fun and a whole lot of driving! We first left Lubbock and drove 9 hours to Houston to stay with my family. Sam and I actually ended up towing our Volvo in a 14 foot UHaul all the way down there to have a specialized mechanic work on it. It was an adventure to say the least. It was a very loud and bumpy trip. We spent a few days in Houston and then we drove the 16 hour trip to Savannah, GA to visit with my dad's family. My dad rented a 15 seater van so we could all travel together yet have a little room. This was Sam's first time to drive on a trip with the Cribbs family. He found out that it is true that we are road warriors and we don't stop. We enjoyed Christmas in GA with family and loved the southern hospitality. I was really bad and didn't take any pictures. We stayed there a few days before Sam flew from there to Salt Lake and met up with his sister to go skiing for 5 days. He loved every minute of skiing. It was hard to squeeze a whole season worth of skiing into 5 days but they tried! I couldn't go skiing b/c of the baby so I stayed in GA for a few more days and then my family made the trek home. While Sam was skiing I hung out with the fam in Houston. Then Sam flew back to Houston just in time for us to pack up and drive back to Lubbock. PHEW! What a vacation!

Favorite Christmas Presents:

Love this diaper bag! Sam thinks it is too girly if we have a boy, but I disagree b/c brown is a boy color.The Willow Tree Nativity set. Love it. My parents have it and I have wanted it for a really long time. I am excited to put it up every Christmas!
On our way back up to Lubbock we were able to stop at one of my high school girlfriend's house in Dallas and make it to her house warming party. It was so fun to see everyone. Ali, your new house in beautiful!
